Bretton Lakes

A good day around Bretton Lakes with 68 PF Geese west at 1000, Peregrine, several Nuthatch, 4 Kingfisher, c50 Siskin and c30 Brambling.
Also, nearly forgot - 2 Black-backed Jackal howling near the bridge between both lakes (so Mr Tyke watch out!!) This is part of an exhibition and on a time lapse or triggered by people crossing the bye-pass dike bridge? Should keep the nearby Badgers on their toes.
Image below of what its about and presumably the foreign bird calls are around the chapel area but worrying/interesting if the recordings are more widespread.
Should get a few new species for 2017 and the Bird Race.
