Most of us remember the not too distant past when Turtle Doves were common summer visitors to the Barnsley countryside, now anyone who see's a Turtle Dove in Barnsley can count themselves very fortunate, they occur far less frequently than Osprey or Great White Egret at the present time!!!
Come along and hear about a project in North Yorkshire that is doing all it can to help stop the rapid decline of this iconic summer visitor.
All welcome, £2.50 entrance charge includes interval drink.
