Wombwell Ings - Present were 1 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 2 Shelduck, 151 Wigeon, 39 Teal, 13 Mallard, 6 Gadwall, 6 Shoveler, 1 Tufted Duck, 1 female Goosander, 15 Grey Partridge, 7 Coot, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 155 Lapwing, 35 Golden Plover, 29 BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 8+ Skylark and 2 Stonechat.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 7 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese, 43 Gadwall, 22 Teal, 19 Wigeon, 14 Pochard, 9 Mallard, 6 Tufted Duck, 3 Shoveler, 4 Cormorant, 6 Red Legged Partridge, 24 Coot, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 31 Lapwing, 34 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull, 3 Herring Gull, 1 LBB Gull and c30 Redwing. A Barn Owl and a Hawfinch were seen early morning.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 3 Mute Swan, 18 Pochard, 14 Tufted Duck, 11 Gadwall, 4m+3f Goosander, 4 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 11m+1f Goldeneye, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 303 Coot, 3 BH Gull and 3 Common Gull. Also present were 7 Canada Geese, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk1 Snipe, 1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Jay, 1 Song Thrush and 1 Marsh Tit.
