Wombwell Ings - Present were 2 Mute Swan, 58 Canada Geese, 43 Shoveler, 37 Teal, 5 Wigeon, 5 Mallard, 2 Cormorant, 1 Kestrel, 182 Lapwing, 31 Golden Plover, 38 BH Gull, 7 Skylark, 9 Meadow Pipit and 2 Pied Wagtail.
Broomhill Park - Early morning P. Kent had c400 Redwing over, 50+ Fieldfare, 6 Siskin, 1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Goldcrest, 3 Chiffchaff and 1 Blackcap.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 2+3 juv Mute Swan, a skein ofc200 Pink Footed Geese over east at 10.08am, 125 Canada Geese, 22 Tufted Duck, 21 Shoveler, 15 Mallard, 5 Teal, 2 Gadwall, 1 Pochard, 5 Little Grebe, 3 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Coot, 2 Moorhen, 18 Lapwing and 5 BH Gull. Early AM K. Fisher also had 1 Kestrel, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Snipe,1 Greater Spotted Woodpecker and c50 Linnet.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2+2 juv Mute Swan, 16 Shoveler, 10 Pochard, 10 Gadwall, 6 Mallard, 5 Tufted Duck, 1 Teal, 2+3y Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 12 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 8 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull, 3 LBB Gull and 1 Herring Gull. Also present were 1 Buzzard, 45 Lapwing, 1 Green Woodpecker and 1 Jay.
