Carlton Marsh

This morning amongst other things 2 adult LBB Gulls alighted on the wader scrape, one wearing a red darvic ring too distant read (JP).

This afternoon 2 adult Whooper Swans alighted on the wader scrape at 15.38hrs and were still present towards dusk (CG et al). Over the years we have seen them on passage, but these were the first to stop off here on their migration, since March 1976!

Whooper Swans (DM Smith)

Also of note 16 Teal, 1+2+1 Swallows north, 4 more adult LBB Gulls north and 2 Redshanks looking like a breeding pair.

Cudworth
A male Pied Flycatcher was reported from a garden in Field Drive this morning (Per Richard Laverack).

Its in the middle near the top of the fence. A phone record shot by the finder Neil Bassinder.
