Carlton Marsh

 A pair of Lapwing displayed over nearby arable land and 12 Skylarks were present, some singing. There are at least 4 singing Blackcaps, 4 Willow Warblers, 2 Sedge Warblers, 3 Whitethroats and 2 Cetti's Warblers (L & A Corrall). 

This evening 2 Little Egrets flew north and a Snipe was on the wader scrape (D. Standish).

Rabbit Ings
A Grasshopper Warbler was reeling (DS).

Littleworth Park-Monk Bretton
The first Small Copper butterfly of the year. 38 Peacock, 16 Speckled Wood 15m Orange-tip and 19 S. Tortoiseshell (C. Parkin)
