Shoveler 10 A Water Rail was in the west bank marsh.
2 Buzzards flew high south west. A Hornet was around the west bank clump.

95 new birds were ringed this morning:
Highlights were: Chiffchaff 49, Willow Warbler 11,
Reed Warbler 17, Sedge Warbler 2, Blackcap 6,
Reed Bunting 4, Linnet 1 and Goldfinch 1.

Little Grebe 5.
This afternoon: 3 drake Common Scoter and 3 Wigeon were on the CP - Steve Denny
