On the wader scrape 25 Teal, 15 Shoveler, 1 Little Egret and 2 Grey Wagtail and a male Stonechat on the hedge at the back.
Also present 11 Mistle Thrush, 4 Goldcrest (singles), 1 Siskin, 1 Blackcap, 2 Treecreeper and 1 Swallow south.
Insects included 7 male Migrant Hawker, 1m Willow Emerald and 3 Red Admiral.

320 Greylags in 4 skeins flew over Carlton between 07.14hrs and 07.40hrs (D.M. Smith)
