Wintersett + Vis.Mig + a New Fungus for area. 01.10.2023

Goldeneye 1.

Going east:  

Pink-footed Goose 65 

Going south:

A  1st Winter Caspian Gull flew south from CP at 11.20hrs.

Skylark 18.   Swallow 112.  House Martin 5.  Meadow Pipit 145.

Chaffinch 1.   Bullfinch 2.  Linnet 4.   Goldfinch 2.  Siskin 20.  

Going west: 

Starling 5.   Mistle Thrush 2.  alba wag sp. 24.  

Shelduck 1 juvenile.   Tree Sparrow 5.   Shoveler 48

Pochard 6.   Chiffchaff 4.    Goldeneye 1.  Lesser Redpoll 1.

Reed Bunting 2.

Fungus 1st:  Francis Hickenbottom

A new species for the Wintersett list is Entoloma cetratum (Honey Pinkgill). 

This was growing from a thick layer of moss on top of a large log.
