Plenty of autumn here already with most of the bracken and heather brown. Different shades of green leaves on the trees. Very steady movement south with 4 hours at the lodge. Meadow Pipit c 502, Redpoll c150, Siskin c 25. Skylark c 20 and 1 House Martin. Pinkfeet c 200 e at 9-23am, Raven 1 pair, Grey Heron 1, LBB Gull 1, Nuthatch calling near the beck. Poor for raptors with Sparrowhawk 1, C Buzzard 3, Kestrel 3. Stonechat party c 5 in the lodge area.
