Wintersett Res: Male SMEW in NE corner, American Wigeon on Botany Bay and 3 Egyptian Geese in the north bank field. The 2 male Scaup (one juv) were still diving for mussels. A Nuthatch was seen in Pits Wood.
Anglers CP:The female Long-tailed Duck was still present, as was the juvenile male Scaup. An adult male Peregrine flew west at 14.25hrs.
Car Park Feeding Station: The swish new birdhouse (thanks Graham) was being used by Great Tits and Blue Tits. Also seen at lunchtime were 58 Chaffinch, 20 Collared Dove, 1 Willow Tit and numerous Tree Sparrows.
