...and they just kept coming

A remarkable day .
Langsett Reservoir (from the dam wall) - 14 Canada Geese, 4 Mallards and 1 Common Sandpiper.
Cliff Wood - full count - 2 Pheasants, 1 Kestrel, 3 Wood Pigeons, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and 4 Jackdaws + the following singing/holding territories - Coal Tit (1), Great Tit (5), Blue Tit (8), Wren (4), Treecreeper (2), Nuthatch (3), Chiffchaff (1), Blackbird (1), Mistle Thrush (1), Robin (5) and Chaffinch (3).
Midhope Reservoir - 10 Greylag Geese, 1 Canada Goose, three pairs of Teal,11 Mallards, two pairs of Little Grebes, a pair of Moorhen, 1 Common Buzzard and 1 male Common Redstart at Hagg Bridge (bottom of overflow).
Midhopestones - 1 Common Snipe 'chippering' and 23 Curlews on Midhope Hall Lane, 1 male Yellow Wagtail in the horse paddocks on Chapel Lane, 15+ Siskins at garden feeders and c50 House Sparrows.
Underbank Reservoir - 14 Mallards, a pair of Great Crested Grebes, a pair of Coots, 2 Nuthatches, c15 Chiffchaffs, 1 Blackcap and 4 singing Siskins.
