Slipping over the Edge

The highlight of Mick Rushton  and Seev's day was watching me,in my efforts to avoid the mud and water underneath the bridge on the TPT, slip off the concrete edge to the path. The dive earned low marks from the judges and further dented my bruised ego. More importantly my bins and scope appear undamaged. Elsewhere!!!!
Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 3 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 27 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag,2 Shelduck, 24 Tufted Duck, 18 Gadwall, 12 Mallard, 10 Shoveler,  4m+5f Goosander, 6 Teal, 3 Pochard, 20+ Lapwing, 4 Redshank, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Golden Plover, 2 Sparrowhawk, 22 BH Gull, 2 Swallow, 6 Skylark, 1 Chiffchaff and 1 Song Thrush.
Broomhill Flash late AM- Noted were 3 Little Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 29 Canada Geese, 14 Greylag, 1 Pink Footed Goose, 1 Shelduck, 25 Tufted Duck, 4 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 2 Pochard, 2 Snipe, 1 Sparrowhawk and 2 Grey Partridge.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM-On the open water were 3 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 29 Tufted Duck, 8 Pochard, 7 Mallard, 6 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler, 486+ BH Gull and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 13 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 1 Pink Footed Goose, 2 Oystercatcher, 2 Grey Partridge, 2 LBB Gull and 1 Kingfisher.
TPT- Singing males 8 Chiffchaff and 1 Blackcap.
