Foggy! Cold.
The first SWALLOW of the year was hanging around the car park at 09.30hrs. 250 Golden Plovers were in George's field, 2 Willow Warblers at Anglers CP + 1 Disp. Point. Blackcap 1.
A Bee-fly, Bombylius major, was seen on Haw Park Lane on
Tuesday 1st April at 13.30hrs. It could be a first for Wakefield.
Great coincidence that one was seen at Dodworth Pit on the same day and
was a first for Barnsley.
