Edderthorpe & Houghton, Thursday

It is feeling quite autumnal here at the moment with a few waders and ducks starting to return. On the Flash are;- Little Egret 4, Ringed Plover 10, LRP 7, Common Sandpiper 1, Common Snipe 1, Teal 11. On Houghton Washland;- Little Egret 1, Greenshank 1, Redshank 3, Green Sandpiper 5, Common Snipe 8 and loads of young dabbling ducks. All four recent Lapwing broods are doing well.
