Wombwell Ings - Generally all three sites were quiet. Present were 2 Mute Swan, 137 Canada Geese, 9 Greylag, 193 Wigeon, 14 Mallard, 12 Teal, 4 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler, 1 Grey Heron, 9 Moorhen 1 Coot, 92 Lapwing, 84 BH Gull, 2 Common Gull, 1 Pied Wagtail, 5 Fieldfare and 3 Redwing.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 27 Canada Geese, 6 Greylag, 80+ Teal, 25 Wigeon, 21 Gadwall, 10 Tufted Duck, 9 Mallard, 7 Pochard, 5 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 21 Coot, 4 Red Legged Partridge, 1 Peregrine, 157 BH Gull, 5 Common Gull, 3 Herring Gull and 2 LBB Gull.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 2 Mute Swan, 4 Greylag, 2 Canada Geese, 17 Gadwall, 9 Mallard, 6 Pochard, 5 Tufted Duck, 2m+1f Goosander, 14 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 388 Coot, 12 Herring Gull, 5 BH Gull and 4 Common Gull. Also present were c100 Lapwing over west, 1 Jay and 1 Song Thrush.
