Today's highlights were; 13 Shoveler, Water Rail, 3 Snipe, Little Egret, 2 Willow Tit feeding on Common Hemp Nettle seeds, Buzzard, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Coal Tit, Goldcrest and Little Owl. On adjacent fields were 25 Skylark, 10 Meadow Pipit and 40 Linnet. (Jim Plant & CG)
At dusk 6 Redwing came in to roost and Barn Owl was hunting from 19.15hrs. (Dave Standish)
Butterflies included 22 Speckled Wood, 17 Comma and 9 Red Admiral. (Chris Parkin)
