Ewden lodge and return 2/10/16.

11am to 5pm. Warm in the sun but chilly when it clouded over. Steady birding but some showing well. 2 Peregrines fighting at the lodge showed well as did a pair of Sparrowhawks, + 8 C Buzzards, 4 Kestrels. A total of 15 Ravens, possibly 18, included an impressive party of 10. Total of 8 Stonechats with 6 still on broomhead moor and a pair at the s bends with the male still in top plumage. Also 60 Meadow Pipit mostly going s., 15 Siskin in the valley, Stock Dove 2, Curlew 1. Nuthatch, Goldcrest and Coal Tit near the entrance gate.
