Bittern was seen flying over the marsh at 13.50hrs and was back in its favourite spot at 16.10hrs offering good views. After 10 minutes it flew into reeds on the eastern side of the scrape. (Chris Parkin/Dave Standish)
5 Red Admiral, 5 Comma and 5 Speckled Wood butterflies were on the wing. (CP)
