Wombwell Ings - Highlight was the Spoonbill first seen by Keith Fisher before 5am and still present when I left at 11am. Also present were 10 Mute Swan, 19 Canada Geese, 2 Shelduck, 31 Gadwall, 21 Mallard, 3 Shoveler, 2 male Teal, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 7+1y Lapwing, 4 Ringed Plover, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Avocet, 1 Redshank, 41 BH Gull, 1 LBB Gull, 5+ Skylark, 3 Pied Wagtail. 1 Yellow Wagtail, 3 Linnet and 1 Reed Bunting.
TPT - Singing males 7 Willow Warbler, 6 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 3 Whitethroat, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler and 2 Song Thrush.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 25+5y Mute Swan, 28 Greylag, 1 Canada Goose, 23 Gadwall, 11m+3f+2y Pochard, 12 Tufted Duck, 5 Mallard. 5+1y Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 6 Cormorant, 67+7y Coot and 2 LBB Gull. Also present was 1 Kestrel.
