Both Whooper Swans still present. A Mallard was with 6 v. small young and a Great Spotted Woodpecker was present.
A male Cuckoo sang and the bubbling hepatic female was seen at 09.43hrs and photographed a little later.
A single Holly Blue flew along the embankment.
Another nice shot of the 'hepatic female Cuckoo just before it flew down to take a large caterpillar
