Highlight of the walk were the 200+ Bramblings in broomhead hall wood. A lot were showing well at the stone barn just down the road from the entrance to broomhead farm. Also here 2+ Nuthatch, 2 Treecreeper, 2 Siskin, Coal Tit, Raven and Kestrel. Nowt much up the broomhead moor fence, apart from Grouse just a single Bullfinch. Little on dukes rd. with 19 Redpoll over s.,Stock Dove 2, Meadow Pipit 1, Feral Pigeon 6. Ewden valley quiet with no bop just 3 Ravens and a distant flock of 100ish presumed Pinkfeet e.down the valley at 2-40pm. On return to the vehicle the Brambling flock were again at the stone barn but mobile and flushed by a squirrel.
