Wombwell Ings - Present were 8 Mute Swan, 47 Teal, 28 Mallard, 21 Gadwall, 15 Shoveler, 3 Wigeon, 2 Little Grebe (Corner pond ), 2 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel, 114 Lapwing, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Knot, 27 BH Gull, 1 Common Gull, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Whinchat and 1 Linnet.
The Fleet - Viewable were 99 Canada Geese, 49 Greylag, 8 Mallard, 3 Cormorant, 2 Golden Plover, 1 Lapwing, 4 LBB Gull and 1 Wheatear. Early morning Gary Haywood also saw 1 Little Grebe and 3 Ringed Plover.
Broomhill Flash - Noted were 4+3juv Mute Swan, 17 Canada Geese, 33 Gadwall, 22 Tufted Duck, 19 Mallard, 4 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 23 Little Grebe, 4 Cormorant, 3 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 178 Coot, 5 Moorhen, 15 Lapwing, 1 Snipe, 40+ Swift and 2 Meadow Pipit.
Bolton Ings - On the open water were 4+3juv Mute Swan, 12 Canada Geese, 11 Greylag, 10 Mallard, 8 Gadwall, 5 Tufted Duck, 2 female Pochard, 4+1 juv Great Crested Grebe, 4 Little Grebe, 10 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron and 191 Coot. Also present were 1 Kestrel, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Grey Wagtail, 3 Blackcap and 2 Coal Tit.
