Wombwell Ings mid AM- Another very quiet day with 1 Grey Heron, 5 Mute Swan, 2a+6y Shelduck, 20 Gadwall, 6 Mallard, 4 Tufted Duck, 1 Shoveler, 29 Lapwing, 1a+2juv Redshank, 1 Kestrel, 2 Linnet and 1 Willow Warbler.
Broomhill Flash Late AM-Present were 6 Little Grebe, 1 Black Necked Grebe, 5 Mute Swan +4 cygnets, 28 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 3a+14y Gadwall, 11a+11y Tufted Duck, 3a+4y Mallard, 2
Pochard, 1 Hobby and 1 Marsh Harrier.
TPT-Singing males 4 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, 4 Willow Warbler and 2 Whitethroat.
Bolton Ings late AM/early PM- On the open water were 5 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Mute Swan +8 cygnets, 23 Gadwall, 17 Tufted Duck, 8 Mallard, 7 Pochard,1 Shoveler and 1 Common Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 16 Canada Geese, 12 Greylag, 3 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Grey Wagtail.
