Carlton Marsh

New in today a pair of Shoveler. Also of note Siskin, Buzzard looking very resplendent, 80 Yellow Buntings roosted and 3 Water Rails called at dusk.

I had my first macro moth of the year last night at home - Dotted Border

The Firecrest was showing well this morning at around 10.40hrs along with c10 Goldcrests, 10 Pied, 1 Grey Wagtail and 1 Chiffchaff on the sprinkler beds. 2 Treecreepers, Song Thrush, male Siskin and 5 Fieldfares. 2 Nuthatch were singing.
