Wombwell Ings - The Water Rail was showing well at 9am on the Bulling Dyke. Present on the Ings were 2 Mute Swan, 122 Canada Geese, 4 Greylag, 1 Shelduck, 94 Wigeon, 10 Mallard, 9 Tufted Duck, 6 Teal, 5 Gadwall, 4 Goosander, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 11 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 79 Golden Plover, 25 Lapwing, 137 BH Gull, 5 Common Gull, 1 Song Thrush, 6 Skylark and 2 Kingfisher.
Bolton Ings - Noted were 4 Mute Swan, 36 Greylag, 22 Canada Geese, 18 Tufted Duck, 8 Mallard, 3 Gadwall, 3 Pochard, 3 Goosander, 1m Goldeneye, 4 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 136 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 199 BH Gull, 3 Common Gull and 1 Snipe.
