23 Tufted Duck was one short of the record. Also present 6 Canada Geese, 2 Greylags, 2 Lapwing and 2 Buzzard. (Rod Heeley)
Later in the day 2 Kingfisher, 2 Water Rail seen and 3 more calling as dusk approached. 4 Snipe left the roost and a Barn Owl was hunting the Western Meadow from 17.15hrs to 18.15hrs.
