With Harry Beaumont and Chris Parkin. We ran to mercury vapour lights in the car park area. 38 species of Macro moth identified included the rare Waved Black. Harry tells me this was the 9th for Yorkshire and only the second for VC 63. 2 Vine's Rustic were also new to the list. Harry dissected two Copper Underwing types, which were identified as Copper Underwing. Others taken were Lesser, Pale and Iron Prominent, Bulrush and Twin Spotted Wainscot, Crescent, Orange Swift and Gold Spot.
