Scout Dike, Hartcliff and Silkstone

Firstly, a couple of notable late entries from Sunday 6th. At Scout Dike 8 Tufted Duck (four pairs) 26 Skylarks (parties of 20+6), c.150 Fieldfare and 4 Brambling in a garden near Thurlstone.
Today: Ingbirchworth Res: single Buzzard flying west; Hartcliff Hill area - a flock of 35 Skylarks still feeding in the usual fodder crop near the plant, 30 Golden Plover, 2 Buzzards, 2 Lesser Black-back Gulls, single Raven and two Little Owls - my first here this year.
Silkstone SF: The Firecrest was still showing well along the fence line between the works and the brook, and a count of 39 Pied Wagtails on the beds and in he adjacent field, which looks very good for a 'white'.
Cheers
