Wombwell Ings - Present were 91 Canada Geese, 1 Shelduck, 78 Wigeon, 24 Teal, 18 Mallard, 11 Shoveler, 6 Pochard, 6 Tufted Duck, 4 Goosander, 2 Gadwall, 2 Cormorant, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Kestrel, 5 Coot, 4 Moorhen, 22 Lapwing, 1 Dunlin, 118 BH Gull, 4 Common Gull, 6 Skylark and 1 Mistle Thrush. A Little Egret and a Song Thrush were present along the dyke opposite the Old Moor Tavern.
Bolton Ings - Highlight was the female Stonechat in the phragmites on the near edge of the eastern pool, directly in front of the hide.On the water were 1 Mute Swan, 27 Canada Geese, 7 Greylag,19 Tufted Duck, 2m+3f Goldeneye, 4 Mallard, 3 Pochard, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 4 Little Grebe, 84 Coot, 207 BH Gull, 3 Common Gull, 1 LBB Gull and 1 Herring Gull. Also present were 1 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 1 Lapwing, 2 Willow Tit and 1 Kingfisher.
