Broomhill Flash & Wombwell Ings

A cold day today with north easterly blowing through and making it quite cold which probably reflected in the birds seen but did seem to bring the Brown Hares out on Broomhill, go figure!

Swift c80, Swallow c30, House Martin 6, Common Whitethroat 1.

Red-legged Partridge 4, Hobby 1.

Brown Hare 7.

Wombwell Ings.

Dunlin 2, Redshank 4, Common Sandpiper 1, Grey Heron 1, Whimbrel 1,
Little Ringed Plover 1.

Gadwall 48, Tufted Duck 11, Shovelor $ (3 drake, 1 female),  Pink-footed Goose 1, Greylag Goose 11.

Sedge Warbler 1.
