Wintersett Ringing Recoveries 21.05.13

A juvenile Whitethroat ringed at Wintersett Reservoir on 19th June 2012 was caught by a cat and released alive at Sway, Lymington,( Hampshire) on the 16th April 2013,  a distance of  317 kms to the south.

A first year Lesser Redpoll ringed at Wintersett Reservoir on 7th November 2011 was found, freshly dead, after flying into a window at Brandon Suffolk on 19th March 2013 a distance of  191 kms south east.
