Looking onto the Wader Scrape from Warbler Way I could see 7 Avocets but looking onto Wombwell Ings from the old road I couldn't see any Wheatears.
Visited Old Moor this evening, first stop Mere where the 3 Mediterranean Gulls were on Island 1. Wader Scrape next where the 7 Avocets were still present and 8 Sand Martins were over the water.
Onto the Reedbeds, no Booming Bitterns tonight but did see 2 birds including 1 in the channel in front of the hide as Friday night, again giving fantastic views. Also present - Sand Martin 28, Green Sandpiper 1, Tawny Owl calling and I could here 1 of the Med Gulls calling.
