Leaving the Best 'til Last

Gunthwaite Dam - 2 Canada Geese, 5 Mallards, 1 drake Tufted Duck, a pair of Little Grebes, 1 Water Rail, two pairs of Moorhens, a pair of Coots and a Coal Tit taking nest material into a stone wall.
Ingbirchworth Reservoir - 12 Canada Geese, 27 Mallards, 6 Tufted Ducks, a pair of Little Grebes, a pair of Great Crested Grebes,  three pairs of Moorhen, 14 Coots, 7 Black-headed Gulls and 2 Common Gulls.
Whitley Common - 6 Mallards, 2 Grey Partridges, 4 Oystercatchers, 1 displaying Lapwing, 1 Snipe chippering', 4 Curlews, 20+ Jackdaws and 5 Fieldfares.
Whitley Edge - 50+ Carrion Crows - probably explaining the lack of breeding waders in this area..
Lower Maythorn - 2 Oystercatchers and 6 Curlews.
Broadstone Reservoir - 9 Mallards, c200 Black-headed Gulls, c20 Common Gulls, 1  Great Crested Grebe, 4 Oystercatchers and 40+ Meadow Pipits - mainly N/W.
Royd Moor Hill - 3 displaying Lapwings.
Low Moor, Upper Midhope - a pair of Oystercatchers, 10+ Lapwing sitting, 3 'chippering' Snipe and three pairs of Curlews.
Midhope Reservoir - two pairs of Teal, 5 Mallards, 3 Little Grebes, 2 singing Mistle Thrushes and 2 singing Chiffchaffs.
Barnside - 1 Pink-footed Goose, 16 Greylag Geese, 5 Mallards and at least five pairs of Lapwings.
On arriving home at Stocksbridge I was just about about to unlock the door when I heard a Raven and when looking up located the bird mobbing a (male on size) Goshawk. - not bad from the back garden!
