The adult Yellow-legged Gull and the Lesser Black-backed Gull cruised the area this morning and were seen over Walton Hall, Wintersett Res and at Anglers CP
This afternoon at ACP, Keith Bannister saw these two gulls fly in. The adult Yellow-legged Gull menaced and flushed all the Black-headed Gulls and Lapwings, and harrassed
the Canada Geese until he had the island to himself. He then stole a Canada Goose egg and dropped it to
break the shell before tucking in. He left it to take a drink and the
Lesser Black-backed Gull moved in for a taste, but it wasn't having
that. He flew back and drove her away before finishing it off. What a
brute!
