A misty start this morning at 9 o'clock (or was it 8 o'clock), 9c rising to 14c mid afternoon. Could nearly copy last weeks blog, the Pink Footed Goose was still with the Grey Lags ( 2 more on Wombwell Ings from the old road), still 3 female Goldeneye hanging on and 18 singing Chiffchaffs. Further news from Old Moor where there were 3 Mediterranean Gulls on the Mere today. The regular adult male with the metal ring, the one legged adult female and her mate 2E26 whose ring was read today. Interestingly the pair haven't been seen for a week, where have they been?
