Moorland news 16/7/23.
Observers, G and J Wasse, S Green. Ewden valley - WT Eagle 1, Redstart 1. Low Moor/Midhope - Hobby 1+, Sparrowhawk 1, C Buzzard 2, Kestrel 2, Raven 2. Fewer waders but still a few Snipe with 1 chipping and c 5 Curlew. Swift c10, Siskin c10, Redpoll c 2. Yesterday 1 Crossbill over.
