Elsecar

Elsecar Reservoir - a pair of Tufted Duck, 8 Great Crested Grebes with three pairs displaying, 1 Grey Heron and the usual suspects.

One of the grebes had young on its back this morning Martin. Also two Common Terns, which I have seen on every visit this week.

Bit of a flying visit so the young are probably still there. Must admit I didn't look too closely and assumed they had not actually bred as yet.
