The Spoonbill finally discovers Edderthorpe

Yes, after a few days residency in the Dearne Valley the Spoonbill has finally found what its been looking for - Edderthorpe. Well done to the Barnsley Blade who spent much of the day searching the valley and finally found it at Edderthorpe around teatime. All the other usual birds are still in residence;- Wigeon 2, Avocet 8, Black-tailed Godwit 2, Ringed Plover 2, LRP 1.

Maybe it will more peace at Edderthorpe.
The Spoonbill was on Wombwell Ings at mid day but being disturbed by 2photographers stood on top of the bank near to the hide.
Also the ponies were running about close to where it was trying to catch 40 winks.
