A quiet morning visit to Old Moor, highlights: Pink-footed Goose, 4 LRP, 3 RP, Common Sand', 3 Dunlin, Cuckoo. There are now at least 11 Avocets sitting. A Med' Gull remains sat on The Mere and another was on Bolton Ings. At least 4 Pochard (3 males) were on Old Moor and 8 (7 males) were on Bolton where there were also 4 Great Crested Grebes. A Greenshank was seen on Wombwell Ings this morning.
