A quiet morning at Old Moor, highlights as follows: Wigeon 2, Common Sand' 1, Common Gull 1st-summer. Perhaps the most interesting thing was a pair of Teal behaving suspiciously on the Wader Scrape. No young were seen, but from their behaviour I would be surprised if there weren't some. Also great to see lots of well grown Avocet young and one flying young Common Tern, with others apparently destined to follow soon.
