Wintersett - Scaup Scarpered? 11.05.13

A cool westerly wind,  only 8 degrees, sunny spells with some light showers late morning.
Walton Hall:  Pink-footed Goose 1,  Greylag Goose 1 sitting and 2 broods with 6 + 7 very small young. Canada Goose 3 sitting and 2 broods of  4 + 1 young.
Anglers CP:  Goldeneye 1 female.  Common Tern 2,  Common  Sandpiper 1.   A Greenshank  came into the shallows from Old Royston Flash before leaving NE at 10.55 hrs.   The juvenile Swallow was in a  group perching on the Sand Martin box. 
The drake Lesser Scaup was not seen mid morning.  Here's a fine photo from yesterday.
