A great morning today on Wombwell Ings with a single Avocet, 16 Ringed Plover, 2 Sanderling, 36 Dunlin (missing Dave Waddingtons extra one who had 37), 2 Redshank, 2 Snipe and a Grey Plover.
Also 34 Gadwall, 4 Shovelor (3m 1f), 10 Tufted, 8 Mute Swans (3 Juv), 9 Greylag, 8 Mallard, 1 Pochard drake.
A Red Kite was also picked up by Chris Harris who passed the word on and ticked from Wombwell Ings.
