Night Heron

Arrived 7.45pm to find that the Night Heron was partially in view under the left of the willows.  Shortly after it flew round to the right of the willows and remained more or less in view.  Then out in the open at the far end of the willows.  Finally it flew towards us and stayed in open view close by for at least 20 minutes.  Happily feeding most of the time but occasionally spooked by a moorhen or a grey heron.  Fantastic display from this bird and also the Spoonbill.
