Wintersett + VisMig + Ringing + Gull Roost 23.10.19

9 - 13 degrees with 1/8 cloud and a  very light south easterly.
Anglers CP VisMig: 
Going east: Pink-footed Goose 961. Going south: Brambling 3. Jackdaw 58 (may have been moving between roosting and feeding sites).   Skylark 8 + 3 east.  alba Wagtail 2.  Meadow Pipit 2. Lesser Redpoll 1.  Goldfinch 7.
Going south west: Stock Dove 7. Wood Pigeon 160.  Fieldfare 12.  Redwing 27. 
Going north west:  Chaffinch/Brambling 19  (probably Brambling. We don't get flocks of 19 Chaffinch!)Going WNW: Starling 961.
Going west:  Siskin 1.  
Wintersett Res: Cetti's Warbler 1 male north east bank.  Water Rail 2 - NE bank + SWbank pond.
Cold Hiendley Res: Scaup 1 juvenile.
Disposal Point: Green Woodpecker 1.  
6 birds were ringed today: 4 Redwing.  1 Lesser Redpoll.  1 Goldcrest.
Anglers CP Gull Roost: per Steve Denny.  A  2nd winter Mediterranean Gull was tonight, along with 216 Lesser Blackbacked Gulls , 3 Yellowlegged Gulls and 18 Great Blackbacked Gulls.
Lepidoptera:  Red Admiral 2  Pits Wood.   Comma 6 (1 NE bank, 2 SE bank,  1 Pits Wood + 2  boathouse). 
Odonata: Migrant Hawker  1 NW bank WRes + 2 boathouse reeds.  Ruddy Darter 1 Disposal Point.
