The Spoonbill commuting - John Hewitt

Old Moor: The Spoonbill toured the area again but favoured the mighty Wath Ings! The Night Heron flew from 'Cuckoo tree' to the Reedbeds tonight. Other birds included Wigeon, Shelduck, Ringed Plover 12, LRP 5, Dunlin 7, Green Sand 10, Ruff 2, Common Tern 3 (1 juv), Med' Gull juv on Wath Ings tonight (probably Edderthorpe bird?), Swift.

Spoonbill - John Hewitt  We are assuming this to be the bird that has spent much of the summer in shame at Denaby - can anyone confirm this? Note the gap in the primary on left wing.

Wombwell Ings: Little Egret 3, Greenshank 6, Dunlin 4.
