Sorry for yesterday's typo for Broomhill which should have read 2 Common Sandpiper. A senior moment!!!
Broomhill Flash early AM- Present were 20 Little Grebe, 2 Mute Swan, 61 Tufted Duck(inc young), 28 Gadwall, 11 Mallard, 1f Shoveler, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel and 1 Common Tern.
Wombwell Ings mid AM- Present were 1 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Mute Swan, 101 Canada Geese, 3 Greylag, 39 Mallard(+1f and 3 young on Bulling Dyke), 5 Teal, 2 Gadwall, 122 Lapwing, 3 Greenshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Ringed Plover, 4 Linnet and 2 Grey Partridge with 11 young.
Bolton Ings late AM- Present were 18 Cormorant, 24 Little Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Mute Swan+ 2 young, 64 Canada Geese, 10 Greylag, 68 Tufted Duck(inc young), 14 Gadwall, 8 Pochard, 3 Mallard, 219 Lapwing and 1 Kestrel.
