Wintersett Res: Great Crested Grebe broods  1 + 3 and 1 CHres..  Common Tern 4 + 1 ACP.  Grasshopper Warbler 1 reeling on the west bank.  A dead Water Shrew was on the west bank path.
Cold Hiendley Res: Gadwall 15 + 4 ACP
Also seen:  Purple Hairstreak 1 Haw Park wood.  There were also many bees and insects in a torpid state.
Here's one for Oxycera.  Please can you  ID?  I'm not sure if it's a bee or a wasp or a hoverfly

Is it a bee/wasp/hoverfly?    It's on Burdock
