Dry, cloudy and a cool 15 degrees mid morning with a WSW wind, rising to 19 degrees this afternoon.
Wintersett Res: Highlight today was a juvenile, cream crown Marsh Harrier that flew SW over the west bank at 07.05hrs. Nuthatch 1 flew north over west bank, Common Tern 8 adults + 1 juv. and Green Woodpecker 1.
Anglers CP: Goldeneye 1 female and Teal 1.
A total of 72 birds were ringed today, including 9 Sedge Warbler, 10 Reed Warbler, 5 Blackcap, 6 Whitethroat, 10 Chiffchaff, 13 Swallow, 1 Lesser Whitethroat and 3 Treecreeper.
