Spent much of the morning at Seckar Wood before a walk round the lake to do my WeBS count. First singing chiffchaff was the year's 70th species and there were a couple of lapwing in the field west of Seckar Wood.
Black-headed gull (160), buzzard (1), Canada goose (24), chiffchaff (1), coot (31), goldcrest (5), goosander (1f), great crested grebe (4), great spotted woodpecker (2), green woodpecker (1), grey partridge (2), greylag goose (8), lapwing (2), lesser redpoll (5), mallard (148), moorhen (7), mute swan (7), nuthatch (1), siskin (2), skylark (3), teal (4), treecreeper (4), tufted duck (1), whooper swan (1), yellowhammer (3).
